A1Bonjour, mon colonel ! An illustrated dialogue, grammar box and the coloured unit tab.
An A1 culture spread in orange: portraits of famous African figures around a map, with comprehension exercises and a crossword.
A1Qui sont-ils ? A culture page on famous Africans, in the series’ orange.
An A2 spread: the title Au marché above a busy illustrated market street, with vocabulary tables, a dialogue and small drawings of shops.
A2Au marché. A market scene opens a free lesson of vocabulary and listening.
An A2 spread: an illustration of soldiers tending a wounded comrade on the ground, beside vocabulary panels for talking to an injured person.
A2L’évacuation sanitaire. A casualty scene sets up the vocabulary of first aid.
An A2 spread: soldiers sweeping a minefield with detectors behind a red Mines sign, with exercises and a newspaper-style text.
A2Mines et déminage. Illustration, exercises and a press clipping on the same theme.
A B1 spread in collage style: notes, photographs, a page of cultural symbols and the lesson title De la rupture de paix au conflit.
B1Créez votre mission. B1 moves to collage: documents, photographs, symbols.
A B1 module opener: a large white numeral 3 on deep green, the module contents, a map of the world’s peacekeeping operations and photographs.
B1Module 3. Each B1 module opens on a deep colour and a large numeral.
